Need I remind you, she's not even 5 months?

Ok, after a great thanksgiving at nana and pops, CMC and family came home to wind down. We put in Sesame Street, specifically Elmo's world. James and I were shocked when Caroline laughed out loud at Super Grover. We thought surely she's not watching sesame street. We rewound the show 3 times and all three times CMC laughed at the same two parts. She did it so reliably, we were able to get this video. Need I remind you, she's not even 5 months old!! Super smart.

The laugh takes a minute so be patient, although watching her watch sesame street is a hoot, too.

Tailgating with Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Craig and Our New Skill

Tailgating and Sitting Up

So on Saturday, Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Craig were kind enough to invite Caroline to her first Tailgate. Caroline had the time of her life people watching (although I think the same could be said for all of us). She took two naps and just hung out. She did great. Below are pictures of us from the tailgate.

In other news, Caroline displayed a new skill on the walk from the tailgate to the car. She puller herself up to sitting and stayed that way! We are convinced that Aunt Lindsay and Uncle Craig gave her a secret pep talk before leaving the tailgate. Although true she was not completely lying down, we think it still counts. Once she was up, boy howdy she would not lay back down. James and I strapped her in to try to keep her back but it didn't work. She puller herself up and went to town sucking on the cup holder. You can see in the pics below how proud she is of herself (first pic) and how hard at work she was once she got there.

Caroline's New Trick

Forgive the shotty camera work but here's a clip of Caroline's new trick. She does it incessantly. Seems like she'll be talking in no time as vocal as she is.

Halloween

Well, halloween for us lasted about 15 minutes. We put 2 chairs outside, put Caroline in her pack n play and waited for the trick or treaters! I think we got about 10. Caroline was in her outfit all of 5 mintues, but boy was it worth it! :) See a below for a photo-documentary of 'the outfit' beginning to end...

Caroline Rolls Over

So our baby girl is growing again. On October 11th, Caroline rolled over during the Texas OU game (and dressed oh so appropriately in her Texas dress!). I am convinced it was in support of the TD Texas had just scored. She's such a fan already. The pictures above were taken right after. The video was taken today of CMC recreating her roll over. Now that she's figured out how things work, she won't stop rolling over. I was woken up 3 or 4 times last night to Caroline crying because she was on her tummy. Let's hope she learns rolling from her tummy to her back soon!
