Goodie's Visit

Our Goodie was able to come for a week and a half and spoil us rotten. Below are a few pics from her stay.

Our lovely little bird, Caroline, attends little gym with Nana. Having been myself, I can say that it is a hilarious, exhausting, fun filled experience. Caroline shows little gym who's the boss. The very short clip below immediatly followed the teachers instruction that children less than 2 years old cannot jump with both feet off the ground.. enter cmc...

Goodie and Papa's- Corpus 2009

We were fortunate enough to spend close to a week in Corpus Christi with Goodie and Papa. This trip was filled with a lot of fun and a lot of firsts. We were able to spend time at the glorious national sea shore and Caroline saw her first dolphin. Our time there was too short for us but it was a good time.

Caroline plays with Grace

The title makes me laugh! Let me explain- Caroline had her friend Grace over this last weekend. After a fun day at the pool, Grace came over and played while the parents had dinner. While Caroline played with Grace, you can see in the video she does not 'play with grace' - CMC has yet to master sharing and playing together. She spent much of her time marking her territory and stuff. She is sweet as always though. Our favorite clip is of CMC and Grace in Caroline's Apartment (the bottom of the armoire).

She Walks!

My mobile little wonder decided it's time to join the likes of the upright the last weekend in July. Of course, I was away to see the very first steps but she's forgiven for not waiting for her mother :) Below are two clips of carolines early attempts at walking. A funny note not so much captured in the video is that caroline felt the need to keep her arms abover her head when she first started walking- a habit she picked up when we would help her walk. When I see her walking, I immediatly think of the 'Thriller' video- she looks a bit like a mummy.
